I want to share an internet connection from ethernet to airport wireless without broadcasting an SSID.
I realize that not broadcasting an SSID does not improve security, I'm mainly interested in average users not noticing that it exists.
I would prefer to accomplish this via the Sharing pane of System preferences, but if it is not possible I would be willing to consider a dedicated application.
Preliminary Googling has only turned up results of people arguing about whether or not hiding an SSID improves security.
