Ask Different is a question and answer site for power users of Apple hardware and software. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I recently purchased iPhone 4. It was factory locked. So I factory unlocked it from my friend.

From iTunes I can download and install all free iPhone apps. But when I download a full version app separately not from iTunes. It is not installing in my iPhone. It gives me this error Sync error.

Does any one knows how can I overcome from this problem and can install any app in my iPhone?

What do you mean? How and where from are you installing these apps? – Gerry Dec 16 '12 at 12:03
@Gerry I am downloading it from internet. – Yogesh Suthar Dec 17 '12 at 4:00
Please be aware that installing pirated software is off-topic per the faq so please clarify what legitimate path is being used to load apps and whether they are code signed or not. This could be either on or off topic, so I'll close it for now until it's clear whether you're looking for something we consider on topic. Anyone can edit this and either vote to re-open or flag for a moderator to help re-open it once it's squarely within scope. – bmike Jan 4 at 18:16

Factory unlocking has to do with iTunes or the device not needing a SIM card from a particular vendor to activate the device after a restore.

It has nothing to do with code signing of apps. If your device is jailbroken, then you can bypass that check and if not, you need to get properly signed apps for them to run.
