I'm interested in seeing the performance difference (or load) of FileVault 2 on a MacBook Pro Retina (with SSD)

What are the performance differences and power consumption differences with and without local encryption enabled?

If that information is not available, how can I measure this myself? (I will encrypt and perform the tests in the manner you think is best)

I haven't made a direct comparison, but I know some people comment on a small delay with waking up after sleep when FileVault2 is enabled: apple.stackexchange.com/questions/57799/… – andrewj Dec 4 '12 at 3:19
