In iTunes 11, apparently, all songs from a certain album show up in Expanded View, even those which have not been purchased.

Though this is working for some albums, it is not working for others. enter image description here

There does not seem to be a pattern to it. Even CD rips are showing missing songs to download from the store. And even purchased albums fail to do so.

How do I make iTunes more consistent with this?

I noticed a correlation between songs that were uploaded to iCloud (e.g. not "matched" or "purchased") do not show up in this view. May have to do with the iTunes match algorithm being used to compile the tracklist. – lukiffer Dec 1 '12 at 19:57
