I installed windows 7 on the internal drive, and I would like to copy it to an external drive (usb) and make it bootable. (rMbp 2,3ghz)
Options I came up with so far:
Does not work as version 3.0 is not free.
next I will try:
to restore the internal bootcamp partition to an external drive an make it bootable by using the recovery console with
bootrec.exe /fixmbr bootrec.exe /fixboot bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
I am looking for a confirmed working solution.
I dumped the internal partition to the external drive, but it won't show up in the bootmenu
I got windows installed following
It did boot well (but slowly) before installing drivers. After I installed the drivers It quit with a bluescreen.
I am aware that this is close to a lot of questions but thus far I have not seen an answer that really worked.
