I got my iPhone 4 in February of last year, right when Verizon offered them in the US. Just recently, a yellow spot has appeared on the middle right side of the phone and it has been slowly growing. I have read that a yellow spot on an iPhone is due to residue left from the manufacturing process and will go away in a few days. I don't believe this is the case for my phone. The spot appeared about a month ago and the phone is more than 2 years old. The spot was never there then all of a sudden it appeared just recently. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this yellow spot on the iPhone 4? Would Apple or Verizon be able to give me a replacement without the need to sign up for two year contract?
