Is it possible to get the Logitech T650 Touchpad running on Lion?

Logitech forums state that it is not currently supported. But I have hope that there may be a work around as when I plug it in it the cursor moves but I cannot click or gesture. OS X comes up with the unrecognised keyboard wizard and asks me to press the left shift key on the touchpad...which I obviously cannot.

Clicking does work if you press the bottom corner and use the physical button. But it still needs tap-to-click and gestures. – row1 Dec 15 '12 at 5:49
