User accounts on osx can have problems, yet still kind of work.

Is there a way to lint or verify the structure of a users account on osX?

plutil does this for preference files, for example.

I'm unsure myself. I thought that instead of trying to see which problem I might have, I would try to see which ones I don't have. That's the context for this question. – chiggsy Nov 4 '12 at 6:51
