Recently the search function in text messages on my iPhone 4 quit searching the contact names and only searches the text of the messages. Now if I want to recall the latest message I received from someone I have to scroll through all my messages. Can anyone help me with this?

What exactly is your goal here? Search for message senders via Spotlight? – patrix♦ Nov 4 '12 at 15:45
The normal search function in messages used to search for senders. There are work arounds like spotlight or accessing messages from the contact list but its an extra step and I'm a bit concerned as to why and how the search parameters were changed. – Ryan Nov 4 '12 at 22:08
