I own a Mac running OSX Mountain Lion and an iPhone 4S running iOS 6. For some reason, when setting the Contacts app in my Mac to use iCloud Contact, it is using an older version of the contacts.
I specifically updated them on my phone to include the country code such as +1 for US or +54 for Argentina. This changes are not reflected on the OS X Contacts application.
Oddly, the syncing seems to be working the opposite way. When I update contacts in my Mac they show up on my iPhone.
I'm confused as to how this works and if my settings are messed up.
