Ever since I upgraded my Macbook Pro O.S to version 10.8, I have been noticing that the battery drains out way to sooner after charging it completely.

Can I debug this to know what, if any, is hogging the bulk of battery ?

You could sort processes by CPU time in Activity Monitor. There have been some blog posts about 10.8 using more power, but most haven't mentioned what could cause the battery drain. – Lauri Ranta Oct 22 '12 at 13:51
