I'm looking at purchasing a Macbook Air. I'd like to avoid getting a soon-to-be-outdated model if possible. What's the estimated time frame for the Macbook Air model refresh?

I realize the date will be an estimate. However I find that lately Apple product launches/refreshes are fairly accurately predicted by, for example, Marco Arment on Build and Analyze podcast and other blogs aimed at Apple fans. I just don't recall hearing anything about the Air lately so any insight is much appreciated!

I'll bet this gets closed, but you should check the Mac Buyer's Guide. No one is expecting anything new any time soon, since the current model already has the latest generation CPU and all that. – gabedwrds Oct 21 '12 at 4:11
