I have a MacBook circa 2007. Recently changed to a fiber internet service. My other devices are connecting but the MacBook will lockup. No response to keystrokes or soft reset.

Anyone has any idea why and how can I fix it?

What is your network setup? You are presumably connecting your devices through a traditional WAP or wired ethernet switch/router. What mfg/model is that device? The fact that your backbone connection is fiber should be irrelevant. – Jason Oct 19 '12 at 20:13
