I use XQuartz on OS X 10.8.2. In an xterm window, thanks to the clipboard synch'ing I enabled in XQuartz's Preferences pane, I can Option click and paste my OS X clipboard's contents into the window.
If I try to do the same in a tmux session, always inside xterm and XQuartz, the emulated third mouse button does not work anymore.
