I'm using the golden triangle method in a school. This allows students to authenticate with their AD credentials and it allows me to customise the OSX features using an OD Server (10.7.5).
When an user logs in, a link to their home directory is placed in the Dock automatically. Users can save their work to the Desktop and then drag & drop their work into their home directory to allow them to access this work on all computers within the network.
What I'd like them to be able to do is to be able to save directly into their home folders from any Save As/Save menu. So, a student can go to File > Save As and see their AD-home folder in the menu. This would allow them to quickly and easily save their work.
