Is there a way to use the physical Pause key to pause music coming from web apps?
I often listen to music via SoundCloud, Rhapsody, Hype Machine, etc., and the tab responsible for playback gets buried in all my open windows. For a lot of reasons, having a quick way to pause would be handy, but digging through my open tabs is the only option. Mute is an alternative, but obviously you lose your place in whatever you're listening to and hence is not ideal.
I realize this is likely a complex technical problem to solve – global keyboard capture, may involve AppleScript, something about a DOM, etc. But perhaps someone out there has taken on the challenge.
