I'm trying to set up the synchronization of evices for my friends parents.

Basically the situation is one shared computer with an itunes account, one shared ipad and one private iphone.

I'm trying to set it up so the phone can have private notes and such be backed up privately, while both the phone and ipad can synch from the shared music library.

I am trying to avoid using icloud because it shouldnt be necessary and the people I am setting it up for have trouble with it.

Is it possible to use multiple device with seperate apple id's s with one itunes account and library, and have control over what is synchronized each time?
