I've had a work phone for many years and now moving to a job I've got a personal new phone.
I've got various contacts and calendar entries on the old phone. The old phone is still operable and connected to its original ActiveSync profile on Exchange. I'm not sure which calendar events or contacts are stored on the phone or as part of the sync with Exchange.
I tried following some instructions on the net about syncing the old ones contacts via iTunes and then syncing them to the new one, but nothing happened apart from two seeming default laptop entries appearing on each phone.
The old phone is checked to be backed up on the laptop and the new one is set to be backed up via iCloud.
How can I move the various entries across?
