I'm following this tutorial http://sourcematters.org/2012/06/27/xmonad-on-os-x-lion.html to install Xmonoad on OS X through Xquartz.

When installing some of Xmonad's dependencies through cabal, cabal install "X11 >=1.5.0.0 && <1.6" It outputs the following error:

    [ 01:04:49 ] > cabal install "X11 >=1.5.0.0 && <1.6"

Did you have a look at config.log as the output suggests? –  Max Ried Aug 17 '12 at 8:30

Where is the log located? –  Jack Stewart Aug 17 '12 at 14:35

I can't seem to find the config log –  Jack Stewart Aug 17 '12 at 23:26

Type "find / -name config.log" –  Max Ried Aug 18 '12 at 10:08

Found my config log, posted above –  Jack Stewart Aug 18 '12 at 14:59
