I have an HP 2310t Optical Touch monitor. The optical touch does work on a Mac --in the sense that it can, without any loss, transfer my inputs to Windows running on Parallels VM. Even multi touch works right out of the box for this limited scenario.

My question is, can I use this monitor as an ink input for my mac (OS X Mountain Lion)? The internet is full of untrustworthy driver links and dubious claims and HP's site says that they only support Windows 7 (doesn't mean anyone can't write a driver for OS X though).

Note: I do not intend to use the monitor as a multi touch display on the Mac --I know it is largely unsupported. I just want to use it as an ink input.
