Do you get an error? Any message? Some more information would be good, to be able to help you. – Hoshts Aug 13 '12 at 10:50
There was a problem connecting to the "PCName". – Johan Kruger Aug 13 '12 at 11:44
Check the server name or IP address, and then try again. If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator. – Johan Kruger Aug 13 '12 at 11:45
Have you tried to connect with Samba to the PC? cmd + k in Finder and then smb://<PCName> – Hoshts Aug 13 '12 at 15:54
Have you tried connecting to the PC using the IP rather than the hostname? – hiiambo Aug 16 '12 at 14:39
