I use my macbook to remote desktop into Windows machines where I run Visual Studio/other tools that require the introduction of characters usually typed with AltGr like {,},[,] and others.

For some characters, ctrl+alt+ works, but for others it doesn't, depending on the application. In Visual Studio for instance I cannot use ctrl+alt+7, as it is the "comment line" shortcut.

I saw some comments pointing towards Ukelele, but no clue as to how I could change a key to behave like AltGr. Cord and rdp don't seem to have any particular configuration regarding that modifier key either.
