I do a backup to my xserve (because I do not like the Lion and Mountain Lion servers, still on and continuing on Snow Leopard) So now time machine cannot backup to a shared backup disk. It makes the sparse file, but then it tells that it cannot write to it. And it tells that it must be initialized.
I made a new shared part, but this does not help. Even setting everything to read/write is no help.
Until now I have not found a solution, but it looks like the same problem in an other tread, problems with removable HD. The suggested solution was to reformat this disk. But off-course I cannot reformat my shared server disks.
Any suggestions?
