On this link there is some interesting information about how resolution configurations of different displays are stored.
- Based on this information or some other source, is it possible to introduce custom HiDPI resolutions on the new MacBook Pro Retina display such as 2560x1600?
- That would require the video system to be able to draw 5120x3200 resolution since it's drawn at 2x. Is the system capable of this?
- Or the highest included HiDPI resolution of 1920x1200 is the upmost limit of the system's capabilities?
