I was trying to get Bonjour bookmarks to show up in Safari on iPad and I came across this post from 2008 - "Safari for iPhone currently doesn't support Bonjour bookmark browsing": http://lists.apple.com/archives/safari-iphone-web-dev/2008/Aug/msg00008.html

Is this still not implemented 4 years later?

Thanks.

Finally got an answer from Apple:

Yes )-: Please file a bug about this, describing the specific use case you have in mind. http://developer.apple.com/bugreporter/

Update: I raised the issue and got a reply saying it was a duplicate of Bug ID# 5553678, but I can't view this.

Bookmark syncing is part of iCloud now and can be enabled in Preferences on OS X and your iPad. It only works for Safari of course.

I'm not talking about bookmark syncing. I mean Safari's ability to display webservers on the local network that are declared via Bonjour. This works fine on a Mac but doesn't appear on an iPad. – parsley72 Jul 21 '12 at 11:49
Ah, sorry. No, I don't think this is available in iOS. And because most iOS devices are (probably) used outside of an OS X/Bonjour environment I don't think Apple considers this to be high priority. – patrix Jul 21 '12 at 11:58
