Is it possible to buy outdated versions of software online? (Online = Downloading online, not ordering a CD from Amazon)

One example - buying Final Cut 7 rather than X.

Apple seems to force you to buy the latest version in the App Store, even when crossing generational differences.

Final Cut Studio version is still available for sale at Amazon.com. I have not been able to find the individual components for sale.
