I setup two exchange accounts on an iPad2, just with two different extensions (one is .COM, one is .US). Both are powered by Google Apps. All settings are verified the same, with the exception of the username and password. The .COM account works flawlessly. The .US account- I can't seem to make it work to save my life.

When setting up the account, it says it verifies all the settings and they all have green checkmarks. But when I open the mail app and try to access the mail, I am greeted with a "Cannot Get Mail : The connection to the server failed" message.

The iPad's software version is : 5.0.1 (9A405)

Does anyone know if there is a problem using a .US on the iPad, or if there is an update to apply, or some other way around the issue (aside from logging into Gmail every time you want to check email)?
