I've got a new iPad and upgraded it to iOS 5 (don't know if this is relevant). When I plug in the iPad into the computer via the usb cable, iTunes endlessly continues synchronizing the iPad with the computer (Mac OS X - Lion). It says (translated) "Synchronizing Data with iPad (Step 8 of 8)" and next row "Wait until the Objects are copied". Any idea what I can do to stop iTunes from bugging me about that?

This is how the title in iTunes looks like

which sync options do you have? – Eir Nym Nov 10 '11 at 19:06
@EirNym where can I find the sync options? I sync everything except for the addressbook, calendar and mail accounts. I sync apps, photos, music (among others?) and they are all synced by now. – topskip Nov 10 '11 at 19:23
BTW: now it says "(step 7 of 7)". Same effect. Strange – topskip Nov 10 '11 at 19:23
For the record: the problem went away and I don't know how. So I asked to close this question. – topskip Nov 12 '11 at 11:33
