Ask Different is a question and answer site for power users of Apple hardware and software. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I want to create a paid app for a client. She wants me to build her a certain app and upload it via my account to app store.

She wants to split revenues, but at the same time to be able to check the number of downloads and the financial reports concerning her app.

At itunesConnect, a user can be given "financial ROLE" where he/she can view Sales&Trends for all apps.

IS THERE A WAY TO VIEW SALES & TRENDS for only 1 app instead???

Dani - we love to have almost all Apple questions here, but there are some ground rules from the FAQ - iTunes Connect is one service that isn't on topic. The main Stack Overflow site has about 80 questions tagged as itunesconnect so you might ask to have this transferred there? –  bmike Oct 10 '11 at 21:23

i asked this on stack overflow and they told me that this question belongs to exchange instead ! –  Dani Oct 10 '11 at 21:27

How frustrating. I am not a huge SO user, but the FAQ here is quite clear about not desiring iTunes connect questions here. Have you looked into some of the books about starting iOS development? I don't think iTunes Connect lets you set up a per-app report, but appfigures.com has a better API if you don't want to do it in your own spreadsheet. –  bmike Oct 10 '11 at 21:37

If you link your accounts, I would be happy to have a look at whatever question SO rejected. Perhaps they felt the question needed improvement or research and not that it was off-topic. If it is off-topic there, I'd like to know so I can agitate for a change here. I'd think one site under stack exchange should have a place to ask iTunes Connect questions. –  bmike Oct 10 '11 at 21:40

The proper place for this question may be: programmers.stackexchange.com , not stackoverflow. –  hotpaw2 Oct 10 '11 at 23:52
