Ask Different is a question and answer site for power users of Apple hardware and software. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am trying to find out if I can have several referrers (call them websites for now), and when downloaded/installed from a referral, know where that users came from, for example to show the logo of the source "website" on their installation (pulled from my database). Is this possible? Even if it cannot be done live and on the fly, I am trying to figure out if there is a way to get a report generated that has this information.

This site mostly answers questions for end users of Apple products, not for developers. You might have better luck asking this question in another venue. –  Daniel Sep 26 '11 at 18:16
I disagree with the close reasoning. The store referral process is a service that apple provides to customers. This seems [to me] to clearly be part of other Apple products or services. Voting to reopen. –  bmike Sep 29 '11 at 15:24
