I'm searching for a new screen for iPhone 4 on ebay (polish allegro).

The problem is that the price range is wide. Nonetheless I want the best and cheapest one.

How to recognize that the screen (glass+digitizer) is original - is good quality?

I respect Your argument. Nonetheless I think that many other guys are in my situation and they would like to know how to recognize original hardware. It's one of those question which supports that apple stays apple and not apple like imitation. In the future I will stick to the rules. – czerasz Sep 15 '11 at 19:35
If the question is more about ways to recognize OEM goods over counterfeits, then the question needs to be phrased more to that general point rather than more about you trying to call out the counterfeits in your market because you are currently shopping. – Philip Regan Sep 16 '11 at 14:02

The original part number for the LCD: 821-0695-A, and the part number for the digitizer: 821-0999-A.

The first link is a real OEM replacement according to those part numbers. However, make sure the place is credible and that is what the send you. I would stick to a legitimate outfit over eBay. I've had eBay guys send me knock-offs far more times than real, as advertised items (even when they listed and showed pictures of the real stuff).

As for price, iFixit has them for $149.99 USD and they are completely credible. That should give you ballpark to what you can expect.

Info: OEM means original equipment manufacturer. How do You know this numbers are real OEM replacement? Can I check it somewhere in the internet? – czerasz Sep 15 '11 at 11:00
