Just what the title says - how can I create passwordless keychain on OS X?

Using 10.7.1 OS X

What next once you have the keychain? Perhaps there's a different route to where you want to go that doesn't travel through the path needing a passwordless keychain. You can ignore this if you are just poking and want to learn. – bmike♦ Aug 31 '11 at 16:26

Now that's something we can sink out teeth into. It's probably off scope here - but StackExchange might be a better place. Code signing might be too far into the development cycle to fit here. (I'm not a moderator - so you might ask them on chat first...) – bmike♦ Aug 31 '11 at 17:13

As the keychain assistant won't let you make a new keychain with no password, you might have to make a new user with no password, and use that keychain for your purposes.

You should be able to remove the password from the keychain. I don't have a password on my keychain. I am also on SL, so maybe Lion is different. I don't know why it would be much different. Try changing the password for the keychain, and instead of entering a new password, leave it blank. That should work.
