I would like to reset my ipod shuffle 3rd generation since its not playing my songs

Again, this is just sheer laziness and adds no value here. Googling your exact question ("How to reset iPod shuffle (3rd generation Late 2009)") pops up the support document from Apple: support.apple.com/kb/ht1320 – cksum Sep 13 '11 at 8:18
