For some time now SP crashes when I try to list apps. I set it to open in 32 bit mode, disconnected all external backup drives, trashed the SP Preferences. I'm not clever enough to understand the crash report. this happened in 10.6.7 as well.

Any pointers to how I might cure this? I'd like to get a look at how many PPC apps I use before thinking about going to Lion.

  • 10.6.8
  • iMac 24" Intel Core 2 Duo
  • 2.8 ghz
  • 4 GB RAM
  • iMac7,1

Is there a command line way to list all PPC apps?

Could you please post the crash report? It would greatly help anyone trying to solve your problem. – Nathan Aug 8 '11 at 3:18
Nathan, Crash report is too long to add as an edit to the original post. What's the recommended way to do that here? – Dan Aug 8 '11 at 5:19
The notifications have to be formatted like @Nathan. The user(s) who posted the question or answer are notified always. See How do comment replies work? - Super User Meta – user495470 Aug 8 '11 at 9:47
