I have been searching the net for a basic docking station for my kids ipods. I would like to be able to dock and charge without connection to pc and also be able to play through an external amp. The features i am seeking are:

recharging through A/C. AV out to connect to an amplifier. Remote control

Can anyone recommend a dock

The Apple Universal Dock with the correct inserts has everything you want.
