Has Apple released a list of which devices are capable of running iOS 8?

I was surprised this took so long to get asked. Probably our next 10k view question in a 24 hour period... –  bmike Jun 3 at 22:24
Thanks for the edit @bmike I think the system was rejecting my post for being too short, so I just rambled a bit. –  dwightk Jun 3 at 22:42
Yes - some questions are best served with a very brief and to the point question. I put this list of devices on Ask Different Meta yesterday, but forgot to ask / prompt someone to ask it on the main site, so thanks for that. –  bmike Jun 3 at 22:42

It's at the bottom of the public iOS 8 page where it states the 10 models of hardware to be supported:

  • iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s
  • iPad 2, iPad with Retina display, iPad Air
  • iPad Mini and iPad Mini with Retina display
  • iPod Touch (5th Generation)
