I recently switched my default mail app to AirMail, and no longer use Mail.app. I allowed Airmail to set itself as the default e-mail client.

I notice that in some apps, noticeably Preview and Microsoft Office, this change is not supported.

For example, when I have Mail.app as the default gmail handler, Preview shows the option to forward a file to e-mail.

When the default mail client is set to AirMail, this option does not appear.

Since AirMail is quite popular, I wonder if this is a bug/feature in Mavericks (and if so, is there a workaround to make Mavericks truly handle AirMail as the e-mail client), or have I done something wrong? Anyone with the same issue?
